About Us! We are Quadean and Kendra, Black expats from North Carolina now living in Southern Africa. We met at North Carolina A&T State University, and life has been an adventure ever since. Before our big move, we were wedding photographers on the weekends, a federal employee, and a school teacher by day. We have two kids we adore who inspire us to keep exploring. Traveling as a family has been one of the best decisions we’ve made and a life-changing choice that continues to shape how we see the world. Here we share honest stories, travel tips, and family experiences as we build a new life abroad
